The Daley Center was the first modern architectural building in Chicago and the tallest building in Chicago until it was replaced by the John Hancock building. One of the highlights of the premises is an untitled sculpture by Pablo Picasso portraying the profile of Mayor Richard J. Daley when it is viewed from the northeast.
